If you commissioned a drawing, nobody would try to shame you for selling it. Peak ignorance to think that just because your definition of "art" doesn't apply, it's not art. You're trying to attach the process of how something is made as if it has bearing on the end result. Not all people want a little story, some just want something cool to hang on their walls.
