Before agriculture, everybody was a hunter-gatherer. The agricultural revolution is what made generation of food efficient enough for others to specialize in other things, like metallurgy and stuff.
But nowadays, the concept of alternative specializations itself is being rendered obsolete. What will people do when literally EVERYTHING they can do can be done better and cheaper by A.I.?
