@RedRexoon , why are we making an anti-fair use carve out for images? Why are images different than music, literature, etc? If images are taken out of fair use that would also end media criticism and parody as those activities are also allowed under fair use. You want an artist to be able to demand a fee to write a paper analyzing his paintings? That's ludacris.
You seem to think that stable diffusion contains these copyrighted images. It doesn't. It's not a database. The database was billions of images and many terabytes. That wouldn't fit on anyone's computer. The database is still just in the research lab. Stable diffusion was once shown the images and now it understands them, including the style of some artists. Style is not subject to copyright. It is not intellectual property. You can't demand copyright royalties from someone who is not distributing or displaying any copyrighted material. That makes no sense.
