The pedestrian jay-walked at night.. most likely walking right out in-front of the vehicle expecting them to stop (as pedestrians always do). These autonomous vehicles are essentially full proof and far safer than humans In most cases. It’s obvious that the pedestrians recklessness is what got them killed not an error within the autonomous system.
