Yep... I was still in High School in 1985... I got home one day and turned on the Idiot Box and happened to see Poopy Boosh give his famous Thousand Points of Light/New World Order speech at his inaugural dinner.
I swear that for the few seconds he spoke those lines, not only did his entire demeanor change, but his very face and eyes changed... And we didn't have anything that fancy as far as Special Effects went in 85.
It was the creepiest thing I'd ever seen to that point... And I automatically KNEW we Mere Mortals were in deep dookey.
All these years later and it's just gotten worse and worse.
