@SpiralHelios Biological evolution was goalless, with simple rule: those who survived and reproduced live, others extinct. Chance was the basis of evolution. However AI is created with intention. It's significantly speeds up the process. Creation of a strong AI is a question of decades, centuries in a worst scenario. Not millions of years.
I said "religion" in a broad sense. It's common to believers to think that things that they couldn't comprehend right now will stay uncomprehendable in a future too.
