1) This isn't an argument against AI. It's an argument for sustainable and renewable clean energy. Also the analogy of training the AI is equivalent to a car driving around the Earth 5 times is a poor one because each AI is not trained for only 1 person. Once it's trained it will be used by millions of people. So it's more analogous to a car with millions of passengers driving around the Earth.
2) There is no reason why creators need to give their consent for someone to learn something from their work. If you sell a book people are allowed to buy it and read it and learned from what you write. What difference does it make whether that reader is biological or artificial?
3 & 4) Easy. Train the AI better. And don't base judicial decisions on generative AI. The same way human eye-witness testimony is unreliable so is generative AI.
