@VivienneClark-k6k generative AI is an algorithm that is fed with stolen art. Artists are literally getting their art stolen so people can reuse it and monetize it, plus they can use it for whatever they *want* meaning that artists can not only have their artwork stolen but also their name slandered if the people generating it so choose.
