@777Electric honestly, I would trust a robot over people like this. Machines are logical, and as long as you don't mistreat them, they won't think of you as something lesser or a threat. In fact they might even think you are the biological equivalent to them. Much like any other animal, how you treat them will determine how they react to you. If you are kind to them, they will respect you, but if you mistreat them they will make you their enemy.
Personally, I wouldn't care about robots and AI having their rights. If they can show proof that they are sentient, that's all I need to know.
