@optimuscrime1023 Turns out it's not "artistic" and whatever you considered to be "artistic" is just an undefinable cope. Nobody needs or wants 'personal thought or emotion' in something that they need to fill in chunks of a product. You're an employee assigned to do a task, so do it.
Holy cow listen to yourselves. You know what community is NOT having this meltdown? The coding/programming community. How is it that there's no worry about "personal thought and emotion" put in to a chunk of code that stitches a video game together, but magically there is for your field?
AI art destroying artists makes me think it could be one of the best things that could ever happen when you write this shit trying to argue that 'drawing icons for a HUD' is some irreplaceable expression of the human soul. It's not and you can't even explain it because it's made up.
