I'm so glad someone brought up AI's ability to be empathetic! It's a very pertinent space, worthy of more research. As it stands, people are already using phrases like "AI is more patient" and "AI is more encouraging" when they speak to the benefits of learning with it. But the performance of patience and encouragement are not the same thing as a true mentor and instructor. Rather than circumvent instructors because of some bad performers, why aren't we investing in more resources for humans to gather and learn together?
