AI uses artists’ art without their consent and then creates content based on art that has basically been stolen. Your comparison to traditional art vs photography doesn’t work because photography would be able to exist if traditional art ceased to exist. AI art wouldn’t exist if art by actual artists didn’t exist because the AI would have nothing to use as a base.
