​@abigguitar No it is not. ChatGPT has no "logic processor" so to speak. It will generate text based on already written text. It will produce a text that looks alright for simple grammar rules and what other people had typed in the past. It cannot "think" or do research. It simply can't. It can produce a text that contains citations because the legal documents it was fed by usually contain citations. It is not and as a language model won't ever be able to quote the right citations based on the text it has already generated. chatGPT is a language model. If you want that, you need a completly different AI. You can maybe merge them into a single one, but GPT4 is simply not that. It can predict next words absed on what you already wrote and what humans normally write after other certain words. It has absolutely no clue why that is.
