@felipematheusdesouzasantosSupport allows it to get worse. What should happen is outcries to dismantle it far and wide. On AI, you can do things efficiently the old fashioned way(this would give you a backup plan for catastrophe in fact: wells on every property, farmers on most properties, blacksmithing/woodworking/sewing/chopping trees/farming restaurants/etc as general skills, technology-less cars, petroleum/electronic free means of doing things, a backup plan in case an EMP goes off, low-tech armor that supplants mobile attacks, faraday cages, etc), you could go back before 2015 technologically(still in great shape), and/or you could be armed for invasion or where enemies might use AI domestically or from other countries against you.
Nukes are a different story, because--if other countries figure out you don't have them--they decimate your country with them! As hated as the US is--they'd have to become a non-hypocritical theocracy* to make destroying their nukes matter for most of us(the leadership plays given roles around the world).
*I'm not talking about the fake one and/or emerging man worship that we have now! I mean, a sincere carrying about what YHWH wants and yearning to see that it gets carried out. Then, you can dismantle the nukes! What they do can no longer harm you or you go to heaven!
