@SlamtaroTimeVT i mean, ai results in search results are just a pain. even the best stuff needs countless iterations before it shits out anything remotely useful and search results tend to be either the first thing they produce or something someone else picked, either of which are just objectively worse than any kind of conventional reference.
you know what? until there's a model that hasn't been trained on plagiarism i won't be using ai anyway, so i might as well try doubling down on finding more different kinds of reference material. i never even considered looking in comic backgrounds and stuff... not even sure why, i've used comics for reference before.
thanks for your time and insights, it's been really interesting. and the first time in a long time a conversation on the internet actually made me feel better.
