bro i'm cooked, i never expected this ( i work in tech in a fairly sophisticated software) but I literally witness AI do my weeks worth of work in mere seconds, it needed some prompting and "learning" at first but it did it.And for those that would argue that ,"no this is good ,now you have more free time to yourself", what about the new graduates who want to find jobs? what incentive would my company have to hire anymore ? I honestly don't see why they would keep me at this point.There are several layers to this issues that need to be addressed but i think UBI will be needed within the coming 10 years. I suspect people won't feel it until the more common jobs start to get dominated by robots.
