just adding so as to not edit my original comment, "stealing the art back" doesn't sit right with me either; even as there is nothing original under the sun, it also feels like i could be disrespecting an artist i never even knew about because the AI scraped them first, distancing me from the original source. i think there's a lot of nuance in what ai does to the inspo/copy/steal spectrum that should be talked about
