Because falling in love with a character is crazy. That’s why they only built it in after this case. The poor boy had mental health issues and even if AI wasn’t a thing…a forum…a show…even a real human online…anything at all and he would still be in the same boat and struggling. Can we stop blaming everything and everyone? Why can’t we be honest and admit that we can’t protect everyone from their own mind. Why was that young boy watching game of thrones and had access to a gun?
