If anything that just spells out the death of AI. The current hype is industrialists wettingf their pants over the idea of a new class of capital that can replace workers, open source is a non-starter for that.
On the specialized front, no matter how specialized, a LLM will forever not understand any logic whatsoever, meaning that its output will always need to be gone over by humans, thus possibly reaching a point where it takes longer to make/prooread an LLM than it would take to just have humans do the task.
