Although the drop off is the robots will be INSANELY expensive, will have risk of being (well, botnapped) and get taken apart by the enemy to get more intel on what the Americans are using to make the robot. 2: it’s gonna need a huge power source because when it’s on the battlefield for a extended amount of time the battery will run low. I know what you’re gonna say, “Just use solar panels!” Do you have any idea how much power is needed to power a single robot (idk how many watts or kilowatts is needed but take into account the servos, the ai, imagine how much power gets eaten up by the processor. Also take into account about communication systems.) the robot would need a huge battery and solar panels just wouldn’t work on the battlefield ( imagine how expensive the robot is altogether, our tax dollars couldn’t pay that). Now comparing to a human soldier, all you need is a couple of MRE’s (meal ready to eat) a canteen, weapons, and a backpack to store all of those items.
