Yeah im the same, i spent years on art so im not like "HAIL AI, IF WE ALL BECOME HOMELESS, THE AI WAIFUS CAN BE THE OPIATES OF THE MASSES AS WE ALL GET PRICE JACKED." But like just.. i expected to root more, but just. Even as someone who drew for 7-10+ years, i got jaded with money warping relationships not because of the sum but because i've had some REALLY bad experiences with money warping relationships into theft or verbal abuse. So i tried to go emotional but these people are mobbers, and even when i did hand drawn art, they just witch hunted anything with shading or clip images and demanded money and literally openly talked about wanting to kill children in discord servers for money. Red flags are a understatement. Whatever the fuck is going on. Internet rabidity isn't all, but some vocal anti ai people are like the definition of financial mooches. They want their whole life paid for you. And extort you for all the money they want. But want to give nothing in return other than verbal abuse. Hell, even the homeless who mooch at least give a shoddy "may fortune find you and your love enter your life" for 5$ for fucks sake lmao. I grew up with these people and drew for years and played with ai for years, it's not the picture i thought i cared about but the community, and there are good ones, but i'd stay anon in 2024. A lot of people sweet as kids aged like curdled expired sweet to dirrehea and stomach indigestion causing rot. Even as someone who tried to see the best, things went seriously wrong. Doesn't help they also managed to go "who needs tech companies?" and drew literal cp, search up the 1.6 TB cartoon network guy and multiple undertale / cub / diaper offenders. For some reason when 1 in 1000000 does it with ai, it's a 99% scape goat, while when 100 in 10000 of them do it. It's the artz. 2000 videos+++ of cp. Something's just wrong here and it's easy to ignore like a irl predator off a chibi cutesy avatar. But a lot of things can be faked, even like chibi femme avatars turning out to have like 500 lb bearded untrasitioned men irl doing them for just potential 1000$ simp tips is crazy lmao.
