@Badmavs Just in that it has access to more data than any human ever alive (combined with extraordinary speed). While the average elected official has less than most high-schoolers lol.
I'm certainly not comparing AI to something more capable. Just as a thought experiment; do you hate ants? Or do you see them as being sometimes inconvenient and thus use bait? You don't need malevolence to cause harm if you don't care about the well-being of those who experience it. And AI can't care.
