@PauseAIAustralia Bunch of hot air, I’ve studied applied math and CS with a focus on NLP (in grad school). I am not saying I have the creds to be a researcher but it never appealed to me anyway. I understand the underlying technology and its limitations, so grifters like this “Godfather of AI” appear absolutely ridiculous to me with their inflated egos and expectations.
No, AI isn’t getting much better, overfitting a benchmark doesn’t make it better. It still says dumb stuff all the time! Nobody is even talking about AGI anymore, ever noticed that?
