@alectriciti I don't doubt that knowing how to use Ai software like that will give you better looking images. My concern is that businesses (like the coca cola Ai ad for example) will be willing to lower the quality of their outputs far enough that they won't even have to justify hiring anyone for it. The business could hire someone that knows all of these Ai tools, or they could just have a conversation with a (future) multimodal model and have a close enough version, but for free. Not to mention that this scenario still has artists competing against the fruits of their own labor rather than being rewarded for it. I just think large businesses are a lot more willing to significantly lower the quality of what they are putting out if that means they can save a buck on hiring artists altogether. The big concern I have is that all of this takes away the incentive to learn traditional art skills while at the same time relying on them. Just my thoughts, at least. Hard to say what the future will look like for certain.
