@bakaraider The discussion here has been better than most, but I don't think we had opposing thoughts, just different point to clarify. And I 100% agree. I talked with someone a while ago saying they love the office work environment. Office life is suffocating to most, but some thrive. Anything bad has its pros, and anything good has its cons. Automating labour is a good thing. But what about the people who rely on labour to life? Or have a passion? People who use the job site to talk? Automation makes life easier, but it also takes things away.
And I'm pretty sure you understood my point, but I'll say it again. Ai in art effects the final product, not just the person being pushed out. Automating labour CAN be a good thing. But right now? It's taking away jobs. Ai art CAN be a good thing, but it requires more than ai can do currently.
All in all, we're in an interesting point. Like the dawn of industrialization. Embrace ai and risk losing what makes us human, or brave caution and slow down progress. Is there ever a right answer?
