@JVlk-tw6fs I don't know what you think I was implying.
The only point I was making was that plumbing may be "solved" by AI later than Physio.
So yeah, I agree with your point -- I've made the same point multiple times myself.
On our current trajectory, it looks like the value of human labour goes to essentially zero (except for things with sentimental value -- but then it's arguable as to whether or not that is "labour" anyway). Then most middle class and working class people live in extreme poverty from then on.
UBI seems like it could become a thing, but I'd see that being phased out once those who pay it have enough power to keep civil unrest under control, because there's then no incentive for corporations and governments to "give money away" to the poor.
