@nobody85543 Artists have every right to feel outraged or fearful because it’s becoming more and more of a standard to use AI instead of hiring an artist simply of the basis that it’s cheaper. These are skilled people losing jobs and financial security because greedy people don’t want to pay them for their work. It’s not immature to be upset when someone steals your work and then doesn’t pay you for if. Artists have every right to feel concerned at the very least when a company like Wacom uses AI art to promote one of their drawing tablets.
Ai programs also steal art to function and have been caught on several occasions replicating artists signatures. While yes there are public works that they source to generate images, Dalle and other AI image Generation programs were reportedly caught sourcing images that they don’t have permission to use.
Ai is stealing jobs and art purely because people are greedy. that’s why people are rightfully afraid.
