Right, and even if there were, *it would not have mattered* . The arresting officers are officers of the court (that is who they really serve) and if they have a warrant, _the only thing that they can do is execute that warrant_ . It is not their job to second guess the judge, and it is not the judge's role to second guess the police, who they assume have acted in good faith. The fault here is on the AI for getting the wrong ID, and on the investigating officer, who clearly did not bother doing a *suspect interview* . Had she even bothered, she would have quickly been able to determine that she had the wrong person. Of all of them, it is the investigator that is the real failure here. To not bring the victim in for questioning was a huge mistake.
