Respectfully, your analogy is misleading. It’s like saying “the brain is only a collection of neurons” . Gen ai is neither simple nor an algorithm. It is a set of nodes, and a vast collection of algorithms that are trained on unimaginable bytes of data. It may not be sentient, but it is indeed AI, and one that can pose a great threat to society . I’ve seen some of the more advanced use cases and it’s truly remarkable and scary what some of the models can do
