While I think AI Image gen should never be the final product, I agree in a way! I'm an artist and also doing a degree where AI use is taught (and HEAVILY policed), and I think it should be used as a tool for iteration and ideation, especially in the hands of people coming up with visual ideas to hand over to artists. We should be doing the creative work and final products, AI can be, in some people's workflow, an element of the foundation. Human ideas, human work, human products.
