I was trying to tally up what the output of the LLMs was from the video. I have: an accounts team used it for (?), coca cola used it for an cheaper ad image, Cisco used it for a chat bot and an named marketing company used it for social media captions and brainstorming.
So far imo it's seems mostly useful for ads and stock image replacement. Automating transcription/ subtitling & translating. I've also heard from friends it being used to do side by side comparisons of documents and it seems it can read scanned pdf files without selectable text, create spreadsheet and document templates and populate them. Might also be able to scalp data to create that data (although it would need, manual validating), and coders I've seen commenting said it speeds up basic coding. It also essentially is replacing search engines somewhat
Seems to me it's more like a useful piece of software and more akin to how photoshop or Excel changed work rather than something that will change the entire world. The hype is too much
