@ngoyemichel5406 yeah it's good to pause if there was an effort by world government to assemble a committee of scientists and everyone agreed on everything. But there's nothing like that going on. This letter is extremely corrupt. The same people who made fun of OpenAI when they started are the ones who made this letter. Now they're asking to stop it? Way too late. There's dozens of gpt-4 copies out there. Whoever doesn't virtue signal at this point is going to come out ahead.
