And there's so much talk of "AI" "destroying" us in all the various negative ways, but I think folks aren't realizing that even if "AI" somehow manages to create "actual" "Utopia," that will be in its own way the destruction of humanity, because humanity is just as defined by failure and suffering and resilience as it is by success and bounty and solved problems. Even if "AI" only ever does "positive" things for humanity, that in and of itself will fundamentally change us in irreparable ways. If it "perfects" every single human person and "perfects" the life of every human person from the day they're born to the day they die, the homogeneity of the resulting culture will be its own nightmare scenario.
