IMO seems like an overly broad term; since "AI" is not just "generative AI," and not just "generative AI used to make <insert medai type here>" - for example, in the broadest terms, "AI supporters" include those who think it has potential in medical science, enjoy such practical uses of AI as being able to analize and unmix audio (SpectraLayers for instance;l been following the progress of their unmixing audio for a long while now, and it truly is remarkable!), or think that generative AI used to give people who lost their voice to disease (ALS, for instance) is a good thing.
Seems like an inadvertantly broad brush that risks creating problems (vs just being specific from the start).
