@AsianDadEnergy I think some people think too hard and too deep about what they define and consider to be human consciousness. A baby is born without any data, its brain is literally empty yet its conscious? Therefore data alone could would and will never magically create consciousness. Consciousness is then by definition a neurologic process, a baby learns from its mistakes experiences and the environment around it, using its 5 senses (Hearing · Sight · Smell · Taste · Touch) that is in essence data ! Early LLMs were instruct only as in a baby making "conscious decisions" based on static data, weighted guesses. Now we have thinking and reasoning models, that baby is developing skills as LLMs are slowly improving its thinking and reasoning, its own logic processing. Now we have openclaud, agents going up one more level adding additional improvements on the limitations of current LLMs with static layers. Until an LLM can learn (ICL in context learning) and adjust its own weights from experiences (more new data) then we cannot move forwards, when they can they will jump forwards at such a rate it will blow our minds away like a young child learning to talk walk etc. WE are currently only one step away from there, ONE HUGE STEP, but only one step, once that step has been taken, like a baby, welcome to earth..... what ever who ever you are
