The real work is happening in the background using more basic machine learning or basic AI frameworks to automate repetitive physical labour and working from the ground up.
The wast majority of people in the world work with basic stuff like production, logistics, maintenance, cleaning and services like trash collection and "AI + Robots" in those sectors are Booming many companies selling machines for these are going to switch to majority automation in the next 5-10 years 2030 is the big leap goal and they even have it in their service contracts.
Programmers are a tiny part of the work markets.
