Miðgarðsormr Apophis Now that Bożydar mentioned it, I just remembered a problem with your statement that AI generated imagery is "art": It is not an actual 1:1 representation of the prompter's personality, thoughts and will beyond just the initial coneptual phase that you get when you are using the toilet somewhere. You can call it "art", but if so it is NEVER gonna be of atuthorship of the prompter. The machine would deserve the credits for that. At which point we would stumble across other ethical complications of giving an algorithm anything resembling human rights unless it gains full consciousness (at which point, again, we would be facing even more and worse problems than in the previous example).
