This!!! People anthropomorphizing ChatGPT are part of the problem. People want so desperately to believe it's conscious but it isn't. ChatGTP is like a speaking dictionary or encyclopedia but asking it how it feels is just a waste of time because it DOES. NOT FEEL. LLMs aren't sentient and acting like it's gaslighting when it uses emotional terms is silly because that's how it has been trained.
