The reason they believe that is because AI do not have epistemology. The reason you thought this video wrong is that this content is different with your epistemology. But AI do not have it own epistrmology, it do not know which right or wrong. That's why AI need people training. So the question is that how AI can get epistemology? Well people have to help it, but people do not know where their epistemology is from? So people have to use their epostemology to find the origin of epostemology, that in mathematics way is impossible. You can read Godel Incompleteness Theorems to understand why is that.
