@precooked-bacon hi. I'm from Poland and had been working for an American company till October. In August 5 departments were replaced by AI (actually Indians). My managers from Europe were taken by surprise. They were shocked. Everybody in IT has seen it many times. In a year or 2 they will come back to Europe for hiring again. Data scientists across Europe slowly are leaving my previous company as the "optimisation" is not over. Nobody is safe. Their main markets are the US and Europe. They are shooting in the leg. As people are loosing the jobs and cut their consumption. It will lead to a lower demand, and the companies will stop investing. Job is a blood of economy.
