What do you mean? It's easy to relate to someone's situation even though it doesn't effect you. Have you never thought "How would "Person A" feel if I did "X" to them?"
Normies are capable of this, it's just most people either don't understand the problem, don't care about it's impact or are using it to their advantage. As understanding increases (this will happen with more people being affected) more people will see the issues with AI, just because they don't care doesn't mean they don't understand (some people are jerks).
Also mundane jobs are being replaced, the hotel concierges Sam mentioned, live chats online, phone operators, Taxi/Uber drivers, it's coming for us all!
