@edbangor9163 the software didn't do its job. If you look at the whole story, the only reason that the guy was shot at was because the police kept following him around and the local gangs took notice and assumed the police were using him as some kind of informant or that he was a fed or something so that was why he got shot. If the AI never even flagged him then he most likely wouldn't have been involved in anything since he minded his own business and had no record. Now obviously it's still chicago so it's possible something could have happened still just because of how dangerous it is in that area but the literal reason he got shot was bc of the AI and the police.
