In my opinion, prompting a piece is never the same as writing it yourself. The process is what really makes writing enjoyable. Writing is therapeutic to me, it’s fun, and it’s messy. I don’t always like what I write, but every thing I’ve written has definitely benefited me, and a core aspect of me would be lost if I prompted everything. This sentiment also applies to any field that I participate in that has AI involvement, like music, which I’ve noticed is also becoming an issue. Overall, I can definitely hear where you’re coming from and this is something that AI prompters need to understand.
