it's not an exception at all though
the artistic value comes from the writing which was made by a human
the visuals are AI generated and has no artistic value, it cannot be praised beyond the superficial "it looks good" and "the angel looks scary" but there was no artistic decision made in the art, no self expression, no subtle hidden details and easter eggs to pick apart like what a real artist might do, there's nothing to analyse or break down
the writing does have these things because it was made by a person self expressing
that's why angel engine is good, because of the writing. a valid critique is that the visuals don't serve any creative expression
