@johnbrown1867 not sure where you're pulling 10 trillion out of thin air from, considering the fortune 500 makes more than double that annually. And does each baby need a check for $30K every year? Doubtful. There was a study done that if you invest somwthing like $5K for every newborn that will become enough for their retirement by 65.
Some combination of taxation, reinvestment and stipend could soften the coming financial hurricane. At the end of the day, it now costs $140K annually to be above real poverty levels for a family of 4. Meanwhile we are getting ready to mind a trillionaire in the next 10-20 years.
Youtube comment math aside, something needs to direct unchecked wealth from the 1% to the masses who the entire market is betting will be out of work from AI, automation and robotics.
