@pepepito-69 taste is subjective and so is art. If you think AI images are better than what artists produce, that's your taste and that's fine but for a lot of people, myself included, if I find something is AI generated I immediately lose all interest in it, no matter how 'good' the image is.
Because without the creator, it's just pixels on a screen. It doesn't matter how realistic it looks, how rendered it is, if I see a company or an individual use AI images in a product, I immediately think less of said product and the company/brand. The same way you would think less of a restaurant if you find out they are serving microwaved food rather than cooking fresh.
AI 'art's only future is to be a cheap, fast food alternative. The moment a law is passed to where ai generated content has to be disclosed, the whole ai 'art' takeover bubble will burst. That's not to say there won't be a market for it, but it will be separate from the market of actual art. The same way fast food and fine dining may both be serving food, very different market.
