@AzureWolf It’s not a solid way of keeping peace though. Mutually assured destruction has resulted in conflicts centered around ground combat becoming less extensive and prevalent, but those wars never got close to ending our species even at their most severe moments.
Those kind of conflicts can get very gruesome, destructive, and drawn out; but this is also what keeps them from being anywhere near as dangerous as nukes.
Nukes have kept large scale conventional at bay for now, but the possibility to end civilization is still there.
The world leaders in charge of these weapons are typically old, seemingly mentally unstable, and usually politically motivated in bad faith.
And to get on topic with the video, people around Joe Biden’s age often have trouble keeping up with evolving technology, making them much more susceptible to deep fakes than most people.
