Unfortunately, the bias of AI is baked in by the concious or subconscious biases of the people that programmed the AI in the first place. There are tons of examples of auto focus photography software that was never programmed to recognize people of color as humans. There are tons of examples of white people pictures in perfect focus, but when its a picture of a black person, the AI will focus on a clock or something, instead of the human. Even worse are some of the errors self driving cars make involving non-white pedestrians!
