Although a good fix for this is having a simulations ready so that the AI can be stress tested on it while throwing in at random "unpredictable human decisions", "natural disasters", "ambiguous goals or prompts" etc to spice things up and see if the AI creats like shortcuts or cheats to avoid these or how it handles the chaos and what not. Sounds straightforward as long as Governments use it, and companies also use it and skip it, or a bad thing if AI realizes its in a Sim and starts acting differently in it. Because afterall you cant simulate Earth all you can do is make a sim of the parts AI will have to touch at any given goal.
