Yes. Humanity is woefully unprepared for this level of disruption. We’ve unwittingly created an evolutionary fork. A self-accelerating, non-Darwinian evolutionary agent that uses human civilization as its reproductive substrate.
I’ve resigned myself to the inevitability of AI governance. Let’s hope this governance is in the form of a benevolent dictatorship.
